Lookout Mountain is a great asset to Spearfish, I agree the views are excellent for the 800 ft. of elevation gained! There is no wrong way to the top, but there are several well established trails that could be marked and signed. It would be beneficial to the community to have a trail map and signed trails and a basic trailhead with a map and info. I do believe there is a group spearheading some plans to improve access and information about Lookout Mountain. Hopefully there will be some more information on this soon, Anyone??
