I think putting Obama's face on mt. rushmore would be a great idea. It'll give the name Black Hills a whole new meaning.

I'm kind amazed that so many Liberals are now complaining about the treatment Barrack Bin Obama is receiving, yet where were those cries for civility when President Bush was being vilified from every Liberal blog and media outlet. Sorry, you don't get both ways....

A simple ornament created by someone who has respect for our President. I grew up in Rapid City, saw a lot of faces imposed on the Monument in my lifetime, some to be funny, some to be political, some to show an element of respect. I don't think either Obama or Regan will end up as a 'Face", each has their own place in history. It would be nice that persons of differing political views could appreciate that each 'side of the aisle' views their guy as commemorable instead of degrading them.

I could maybe see adding Ronald Regan's face to Mt. Rushmore, but Barrack Obama? Sorry, not even in the league of those distinguished gentlemen that grace Mt. Rushmore...

It's just funny- so many people do this in good fun. I was just at the Marlin's Truck Stop diner in Rapid City where Mount Rushmore is depicted on the wall in a cartoonie mural, and Marlin himself was included between the stoic faces.
I didn't really mind!
