Grey-Haired Nomads RV Around the World

You’re retired. You’re financially secure. You love to travel. Now what?
If that’s not The Easiest Question In the Universe, it’s bound to tie for first place. It’s also a question that most of us hope to one day answer. If you’re not quite there yet, maybe you can live vicariously through Janice and David from Norfolk, United Kingdom. These lucky ducks are answering that question right now – by RVing around the world.
David and Janice – also known as the Grey-Haired Nomads – started touring Europe and North America in a motorhome in the autumn of 2004. They plugged on around the globe for nearly three years. They seem to have taken a temporary break, but they’ve preserved their experiences online in one of the most massive travel blogs I’ve ever seen.
The last legs of their trip brought them through the Black Hills this past spring. You can read details about their trip in their one of their final entries. They seemed to have had a pretty good time, and in their last blog, they even mention South Dakota (along with Vancouver Island and the Florida panhandle) among the most attractive places they visited in North America. High praise, indeed.
