I've been living her under the impression that we'd be the LAST place to go in case of an alien attack. Washington DC and Paris go first, of course, since they have the best buildings to blow up. And then all the other big cities - none of which are anywhere near us. We should be safe! Perhaps now's the time to launch an interstellar PR campaign to convince the aliens of the intrinsic beauty and worthiness of the Hills, and that these must be preserved even if they find it necessary to obliterate more populous areas.
