Elton John

The performance may not have worked out the first time, but this time its’ happening for sure, even though scheduled on April Fool’s Day.

On Wednesday, April 1, five-time Grammy winner Elton John will perform at the Barnett Arena at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.

The Rushmore Plaza Civic Center has been trying to schedule a date with Elton John for the past four years, but the plans fell through each time.

Last week one of Elton John’s private showings was cancelled, and his promoters, AEG, remembered Rapid City’s past attempts to book the musical legend. The Rushmore Plaza Civic Center was more than happy to book the world famous entertainer.

Want to see Sir Elton in concert with his piano?  Ticket sales start this Saturday, February 28 at 10 a.m. You might want to attempt to make your purchase at 10 a.m. on the dot, as tickets for Sioux Fall’s showing sold out within only 20 minutes!

Purchase tickets at the civic center box office, or at gotmine.com
